  Kevin Bowker had long envisioned creating a mobile karaoke lounge, but his focus on his previous business delayed that dream. For 15 years, he owned and operated Tapped Enterprises Inc., Long Island’s leading transportation company specializing in packaged tours to premier destinations. With changes in the livery insurance industry and a desire for new ventures, Kevin sold the business in May 2024, clearing the way for Rolling Raoke’s launch.

In April 2024, anticipating the sale, Kevin purchased a Ford E450 Shuttle Bus. Collaborating with Fernando Lugo, he transformed it into Rolling Raoke, the first mobile karaoke lounge of its kind. The bus has quickly become a hit at street festivals, birthday parties, block parties and fund raisers.

Looking ahead, Kevin plans to expand into other mobile entertainment concepts, confident in the industry's growth. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time with his wife Ashley and their two children, Josie and Luke.

Fernando Lugo met Kevin Bowker several years ago through a mutual friend and quickly became a key contributor, helping Kevin with bus upgrades for Tapped Enterprises. He played a significant role in outfitting party buses and adding custom lighting to keep them fresh and relevant.

Fernando’s background is deeply rooted in mechanics. 

Growing up, Fernando jokes that he spent summers in the garage with his father, a mechanic, rebuilding motors and customizing cars, while his friends were busy at summer camps. His passion eventually led him to specialize in car audio and auto electric work before working as a diesel mechanic and later transitioning into home electrical work. In his spare time, Fernando loves spending time with his kids and tinkering with his toys to understand how they work.

Christopher Recupero’s musical journey is as diverse as his playlist, spanning genres and generations from the classic tunes of Theresa Brewer to the modern beats of Drake. His passion for music was ignited by his grandfather, who introduced him to the timeless sounds of The Andrew Sisters, Frank Sinatra, and Connie Francis during long drives together. At home, his parents enriched his musical upbringing with a mix of Broadway musicals like Oliver, South Pacific, and The Sound of Music, as well as hits from Elton John, The Carpenters, and Fleetwood Mac.

Music became more than just a hobby for Christopher; it became a lifeline, shaping his experiences and helping him navigate life’s ups and downs. A pivotal moment in his musical journey occurred during a family reunion in the Outer Banks in 2008. Unlike previous trips, this reunion brought together extended family, and one night, they hosted a karaoke session. Christopher’s heart soared as he sang along to classics like “Lola” by The Kinks and “Lean On Me” by Bill Withers. The highlight of the evening was when his grandmother’s brother-in-law delivered stirring renditions of “Danny Boy” and “I’ll Take You Home Again, Kathleen.” That night left an indelible mark on Christopher, filling him with a euphoric connection to music that he had never felt before.

Kevin Bowker met Christopher at one of the Alive by The Bay Street festivals, where Christopher was putting on a show-stopping performance of “All Star” by Smash Mouth. Impressed by his stage presence and charisma, Kevin saw in Christopher the perfect emcee for his new venture. After a conversation about Kevin’s vision for the business, Christopher eagerly accepted the offer and as LeAnn Rimes would say, “The rest is history.”
